Every guest is screened. We read each application and build the list by hand, which means the person you end up talking to is someone worth the hour. No open door, no plus-ones.

SF Tech Week Recap

SF Tech Week 2026 brought founders, investors, and builders together across San Francisco for a week of events and conversations about technology and company building. Our “Wrapping up the Raise” luncheon, hosted by Actuate Ventures and Strativ, focused on deep-tech investors and founders closing their funding rounds. It was a chance to step away from the packed schedule, share a meal, and talk about fundraising, commercialization, and what it takes to bring ambitious technologies to market.
SF’s deep-tech scene is a natural fit for what we’re building at Actuate: a community where technical ambition meets the capital and practical support needed to turn research into businesses. Our efforts focus on bringing founders and investors into closer conversation, with space for the challenges that don’t always fit into a pitch deck. The luncheon was one small part of that work, helping build relationships around a shared interest in getting ambitious technologies out of the lab and into the world.
